I, too, have thought about fiddling with the advanced settings and quickly realized I did not have enough information to make an educated customized program.

Hi everyone, I just found out something very important with my own rex c, and figured others might not know either. So, it turns out the engineers who made the damn thing included a default feature that tells you an incorrect PV value just to keep you happy.

I think it can be out by a good couple of degrees Celsius which is really not ideal for fermentation or mashing. I found this out when I changed the SV value by a few degrees and the PV value automatically jumped to the new value. But thankfully you can change this! It's called the DF digital frequency?
