I haven't done lt headers yet,, but plan to this fall So would like to get the right o2 sensors so when i do my long tubes i wont have to buy them again,,, i searched the topic and found people recommending the Denso or the bosch My question is do i need 2 of the same part or are they different part numbers on each side??? Share Share this post on Digg Del. Two of the same. The Bosch sensors are a good choice as they come with a nice long wire harness. When you upgrade to LT's, you won't need harness extensions as the Bosch units will go the extra distance needed.
Are the Denso not extended also? I have no idea. Some people have problems with bosch sensors not working correctly with their cars Me being one of them, my new bosch sensors went out within a few thousand miles and switched VERY slowly. The denso's are oem so why not go with them? If you get denso part no. I have personally watched the 2 sensors switch side by side on my car the bosch was 2 months old and the denso switched much faster and they are still going strong almost 2 years later.
Over two years with our Bosch sensors and no issues at all. Login or Sign Up 0. Truck Camshafts 4. Radiators Thermostat. Class Legal LS Series. You save. Current Stock:. My friend who helped me install the header advises that we bash the K-member a little bit so it won't be that close to the header. Anyone know the best thing to do at this point? I just installed Kooks LT's a few months ago. No clearance issues on the passenger side at all. Can you post a pic?
Yeah there was not much problems with the passenger side it slided through fine, except that the K-member is very close to the header. According to the header install directions on the post the K-member needs to be grinded down so I will be doing that on the passenger and driver side. I just tried to slide in the driver side header, but unfortunately I wasn't lucky enough to get it through. I will post a picture of the header on the passenger side.
Now I have to wait another week to install the driver side header, another long week of waiting patiently. Put Flowtech longtubes in my car, passanger side was no problem, driverside after working on it a bit and a little force slid in too, only thing i had a issue with was the spark plug and back bolt for the headers on the passanger side.
Past that it was a clean install. Page 3 of 7 First 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 Last Jump to page:.
